Demand Planning Manager (Enfield, CT)

Are you interested in impacting the success of the LEGO Brand?As the Demand Planning Manager, you are responsible for delivering accurate forecasts, while maintaining inventory levels that support strategic and tactical business plans.A vital role acting as a liaison between the LEGO Retail business, Global Supply Chain, and Americas & Pacific Operations?Leads and champions the refinement and improvement of the LEGO Retail demand planning processes that results in improved forecast efficiency and accuracy, increased profitability, that sustains growth initiatives and improves customer service levels
Develops item level demand forecast for North American D2C businesses, ensuring the final forecast meets business and financial goals
Adjusts forecast levels to manage demand, mitigating supply problems that would result in low in-stocks, backorders or excessive inventories
Leverage and build best practice within a global LEGO retail team
Perform ad-hoc analyses using a variety of systems (SAP BW, SAP APO, Excel) that turns business knowledge, trends or anomalies into forecasting adjustments and gaps
Be prepared to effectively provide the organization with analytical findings and critical information needed to make fact-based decisions, and challenge the business with strong analytics on the forecast as well as propose corrective actions where necessary
Further refine and build effective LEGO Retail Sales & Operations Process (S&OP) by leading process improvements and participating in formal monthly meetings. Have real-time supply and demand visibility, and make sure that business analytics/intelligence is continuously monitored at a strategic level, made relevant at the operational/actionable levels, and kept in alignment with the business and financial goals

As the Demand Planning Manager, you will manage the forecasting process of the North American Retail businesses (Brand Retail stores and Shop-at-Home), combining analytical expertise to develop item-level forecasts with the opportunity to continuously improve the overall forecasting process and strategy.Do you have what it takes??Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Math or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years progressive experience across all facets of demand planning and sales forecasting, preferably in a multi-channel retailer
5+ years' experience using, implementing, or improving forecasting processes and systems
5+ years' experience in a senior analytic capacity
3+ years' experience working in a cross-functional team environment
Participation in a corporate sales and operations planning (S&OP) process
Proficiency in forecasting software (SAP APO or other merchandise planning system)
Experience with Access, BW and Business Objects
Ability to manage and understand large data sets
Ability to develop and manage relationships

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
