Maintenance Manager

Vacancy: Maintenance Manager
Location: BRIMSDOWN
We are looking for a highly skilled and professional Maintenance Manager to lead our highly skilled Engineering Team.
The successful candidate will oversee the day to day running of the maintenance function to ensure operations and other stakeholders are supported at all times. To lead, motivate, develop and coach the onsite maintenance team. Ensure that all resources, internal and external connected to the delivery of maintenance are managed and that costs are controlled and value for money achieved.
Key responsibilities
Co-ordination and day-to-day management of work completion for all types of maintenance
Ensure that the skills and competencies of the Maintenance team are constantly developed
Ensuring that the optimum resource is deployed necessary to complete the works and that non-productive time is minimised or eliminated
Ensure that effective team member and contractor performance reviews take place, that measurement and review drives continuous improvement in technician and contractor performance, and that SLA targets are met and exceeded by 3rd party suppliers
Proactively promote a positive Health & Safety culture, leading towards a target of zero harm
Act as a central point of contact for maintenance on a day to day basis
Continuously explore ways to improve delivery to customers and through this achieve excellence in operational efficiency and effectiveness using proven lean methodology and problem-solving tools
Ensure that all changes to plant and equipment are co-ordinated through management of change in a timely manner and that the process is regularly reviewed for adherence
Actively participate in the JM Energy reduction commitment looking for ways to reduce energy consumption
Act as a point of contact for engineering input into capital projects
Work with onsite maintenance planning team and reliability engineers to ensure that improvement plans and a system for preventative maintenance are in place for areas of poor equipment performance
Ensure that resource deployment is managed in accordance with resource forecasts, that attendance is managed and accurately recorded and that skills/familiarities are accurately recorded
Effective management and control of all maintenance revenue spend, forecasting expenditure and carrying out regular reviews of actual spends vs. allocated budgets. Assist business in meeting financial targets
To work closely with other JM maintenance teams to ensure sharing of best practices
Are you the ideal candidate?
You will have:
Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Strong leadership experience within the maintenance environment
Significant previous line management experience within maintenance/engineering role
Experience of implementing talent and workforce planning strategies, organisation design
Excellent motivational, coaching, mentoring skills
Experience of organisational change management
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
Demonstrable ability to influence and persuade others to take appropriate actions
Proven ability to manage and develop budgets
Resilience to work under sustained pressure
Demonstrable strong health & safety awareness
Due to the nature of this role applicants must be non-smokers and have been free from nicotine products for at least 3 months.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
