Description
Position Summary
The Head, Participant Transition Services (PTS) is responsible for leading the Concierge Sales, IRA Sales, Participant Transition Services Call center, and Sales Operations teams. This leader is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of participant engagement, service, and sales strategies across multiple media (phone, web, mobile, and print) to achieve production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead large service and sales operation in the execution of strategy to achieve sales production goals
Devise and implement business development strategies to accelerate sales velocity and improve operating margins, to include fielding new technologies, products, and employee skill sets
Act as the primary liaison with senior leadership from Product, MMLIS, IT, Operations, Compliance, Law, and Customer Experience (CX)
Coach and develop direct report team of leaders across multiple disciplines (sales, service, technology)
Act as primary securities principal for PTS organization, supervising all activity and ensuring compliance with external (SEC, FINRA, IRS) and internal (MMLISI, Compliance, Law, EIRM) governing bodies
Support Client Managing Institutional (CMI) and Client Managing Emerging (CME) in the deployment of PTS resources to realize asset acquisition strategies, to include plan M&A, Not for Profit consolidation, and DB liquidation
Prepare PTS organization to support distribution and service of Workplace Insurance products through the participant retail channel
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead large service and sales teams
Advanced written and oral communications skills
Effective influence, presentation and negotiation skills
Superior analytical and complex decision-making skills
Ability to build relationships with key internal partners in Product, Sales, IT, CX, etc.
Understand business economics/pricing and impact on client and WPS
Current knowledge of the retirement plan industry, competitors, products and services
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint literate
Ability to Make decisions and recommendations based on sound financial principles
Commitment to managing all business and personal interactions with honesty, integrity and the highest ethical standards
College Degree
Securities Principal license required
Travel maybe required, team is located at both Enfield, CT and Phoenix, AZ sites
Work in Springfield/Enfield Office
Microsoft Office
5-7 years experience
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
