A new division within Workplace Solutions, Worksite & Voluntary Insurance Benefits, is focused on developing and executing a more comprehensive approach to worksite sales of individual insurance products. A focus on institutional markets, DCIO & Stable Value business is adding additional scope to a very successful organization. In order for Workplace Solutions to achieve its profitable growth objective, it will be necessary to establish clear accountabilities not only for the design and development of competitive retirement products but more importantly for their appropriate utilization, the efficacy, and their ongoing profitability. The Product Manager role will focus on supporting core investment and fiduciary programs and will need to drive operational efficiencies and enhancements to these programs by bringing together key business partners and the vendor.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
This role will focus on building out the operational efficiencies for key investment/fiduciary programs such as custom model solutions, Fiduciary Assure and Managed Accounts for each of our target markets: emerging, mid and institutional.
They will 1) need to become a subject matter expert in each of the programs 2) understand all of the operational aspects of each program 3) continually work with business partners and the vendors to streamline program processes and introduce automation 4) build appropriate protocols for use by the Sales, Client Management and Operations. And 5) act as key resource in answering questions, troubleshooting issues etc.
Contribute to sales and client retention through the timely development of messaging to demonstrate our differentiation in the market. Fully deploy that messaging to key constituencies and act as the subject matter expert for those features.
Partner with Competitive Intelligence team to gather competitive product data to continually benchmark MMRS features appropriately. Monitor and report on competition to evaluate MMRS position in the marketplace. Manage ongoing competitive positioning of features across each market segment.
Partner with team analytics resource to ensure appropriate reporting and review of program usage/stats to drive decisions on timely changes to product features ? including service strategy and pricing
Partner with Marketing Communication to execute marketing strategies including promotional campaigns, educating internal and external constituents, sales kits and collateral materials.
Work with Compliance, Legal and Actuarial to address compliance issues with features that affect basic product design, the way the product is priced, or the way it is offered to customers.
Act as product advocate for those features on projects related to the product portfolio assigned.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5 or more years' experience at a retirement plan provider
Previous product development/management experience
Excellent project management skills
Excellent relationship building skills
Ability to influence decisions at the peer level and senior level
Superb verbal/written communication skills
Strong analytical and financial aptitude
FINRA Series 6 or 7 - or would need to obtain within 6 months of start date

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
