The Group Insurance Regulatory Consultant provides analysis of Worksite's state regulatory bulletins and audit findings for Group Whole Life, Universal Life, Executive Group Life, Critical Illness and Accident Insurance products to identify and act on needed changes. This includes such things as partnering with the business and updating operational processes, procedures, forms and identifying business technology requirements associated with the regulatory bulletin. Also, provide quarterly and annual reports consistent with regulatory requirements
Ensure all regulatory bulletins and audit findings are assessed in a timely manner and acted upon as appropriate
Oversee, coordinate, and/or prepare regulatory oversight data requests including reporting
Attend and actively participate in regulatory check-in meetings
Maintain Worksite's regulatory log, ensuring timely and accurate updates
Lead and facilitate audit remediation action plans
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of products, services and processes
Support continuous improvement philosophy by identifying process inefficiencies and making recommendations to enhance the customer experience, streamline workflow and reduce cost
College degree or equivalent work experience
Strong knowledge of Life insurance products (variable and non-variable)
Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and policy provisions
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and all levels
Develop and maintain effective relationships with the business, compliance and regulatory teams
Understanding of regulatory risks and controls
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Knowledge of critical illness and accident products

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
